Medical symbols

Medical symbols are represented by a green cross (previously a red cross was used).

The difference between a doctor and nurse is indicated by the 'helping hand'. For example the dental nurse is the assistant or 'helper' to the dentist.

Help symbols

Help is indicated by the 'helping hand' either on its own or in conjunction with a person to signify helper/carer.
